Tips on how to win at baccarat
Online casinos have opened many opportunities for gamblers. Today, you don’t have to wear a tuxedo and drive top of the range cars to command respect in the local landlocked casino. You don’t even have to be a rich person to play BACCARAT since you can play with a flexible amount of money, especially if you are doing it online.
The funny part about it is that most casinos will prefer when you pronounce the name correctly unless you are a newbie. The pronunciation is “bah-cah-rah” and not “back-a-rat”. Baccarat is one of the games that can turn you an instant millionaire, especially if you know how to go about it. Besides knowing the game, you also need other qualities such as discipline and a plan on how to manage your bankroll effectively.
So, how do you play and win in baccarat? Well, check out on the following tips:
Bet on the banker and stick to it
The main trick of winning is always taking chances on a streak with the banker bet. If your banker bet sails with a streak from the beginning, you should keep on betting it until it loses. In most cases, the banker will always win about 50% of the time, but a 5% commission will always be taken in order to give the player an edge. However, you must note that a streak happening for the first time doesn’t mean that it will keep on happening; therefore, you must only risk an amount of money you are willing to lose. In other words, don’t be so much aggressive on your bankroll when playing BACCARAT even if the streaks appear to favor you from the beginning.
Don’t rely on the “tie” bet
Tie bet can be profitable, but the riskiest bet one can make. Most houses will always edge on two of baccarat’s bet, which includes the player, banker, and the tie. The player comes with a house edge of 1.24% while the banker comes with 1.6%. On the other hand, the tie bet comes with a house edge of approximately 14.4%, meaning that you risk losing 14.4 units in every 100 units wagered. In the above instance, you will stand a chance of losing 1.24 units and 1.6 units for every 100 units wagered in player and banker bet, respectively. Well, I think that sounds better than 14.4 units.
Lastly, you must have both short-term and long-term goals if you want to win big in baccarat. Winning big doesn’t mean that you have to bag in a million in one day, but it can also be better when the winnings are spread throughout your playing career. In other words, having goals will help you approach the game from an investment point of view. For instance, your short-term goal should be building a reliable bankroll because playing big always increases your chances of winning. Long-term goals should include investing part of your winnings so that you always have something to look up to. Your investments will always motivate you to play more responsibly and win more.
