The Massive Online Trading Card Game List

Trading card games don’t always require the use of a card deck. These days, many trading card games have an online equivalent somewhere – and if you’re both an online player and TCG enthusiast, you’ll never run out of games to play.

Here’s a massive list of online trading card games, sorted by free and paid options.

Don’t have the cash for a starter deck or an upgrade? It’s not always necessary: Many online trading card games are completely free from beginning to end.

Gwent: The Witcher

Here’s a PC and console-based TCG that’s been receiving a considerable amount of attention – and should be getting some more. Based on The Witcher’s universe, but still stand-alone.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Dueling Nexus

There are many places to enter the Yu-Gi-Oh! Universe for a duel. Dueling Nexus is a free, in-browser way to duel and contains an extensive community of players – or an AI for dueling practice.

Governer of Poker 1, 2 & 3

Sure, this one is a traditional poker game, but it also has a nice accompanying role-playing feel that places it in its own class and allows you to travel to other towns or select specific tournaments and challenges around the area.

Necronomicon is an original Flash-based trading card game that puts you in control of a dark and destructive deck. Of course, there’s a sequel too.

Monster Battles TCG

Monster Battles might remind of Digimon, but is a great stand-alone series. Here’s the app.

Ederon Online

Here’s a cool online TCG you might never have heard of before with a variety of 1000 different cards part of the game.

Animation Throwdown

Animation Throwdown is what happens when you combine characters from shows like Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers for a TCG. Certainly weird enough: And makes for a fun premise.

If you love trading cards and dragons, here’s a great free TCG that combines both into a TCG with dueling capabilities. Have fun!

From game-maker Paladin Studios comes the exciting TCG called Stormbound: Stop by for a few minutes and have it turn into a few hours from there.

Cards Keeper

Another great flash-based TCG game that you might never have heard of.

Magic: The Gathering

Magic: The Gathering (MTG) is one of the largest trading card games in the world. Join their official online community here and participate in challenges, tournaments and more.

Vampire: TES

Vampire: The Eternal Struggle is the TCG equivalent to the successful and enthralling game Vampire: The Masquerade. Play an equivalent on Deckserver.

Exploding Kittens: The Mobile Game

Exploding Kittens is one of the most peculiar (and most fun) trading card games of all time. Here’s the mobile version, perfect for playing the game long-distance with friends or enemies.
